Promise of a Son!

Fear and Doubt – the twin topics of Sunday's time in the Word! Abram saw a great victory in the rescue of Lot, but what if they came back? What if they came back with more? Much of Abram's life had been ruled by fear – fear of famine, fear of discovery in Egypt, fear of the armies of the North – now he faces another fear – disappointment with God. Not to worry! God cannot disappoint – I will repeat – God cannot disappoint! We may be disappointed with God but it will be unfounded. Sunday I will show you how God makes promises – while we so often focus on problems. God calls for faith and trust - while we focus on fear.
