Welcome To Grace
If you find yourself asking, “Is Grace the church for me?” then come get your questions answered at our membership/information class called, Welcome to Grace. The class is offered every few months. It is a chance to sit in front of Pastor Mike and meet our other Pastors and Elders.
We will take you through our church’s history and what we believe. The class will also challenge you to take specific steps in your personal and spiritual walk with Christ by examining your unique personality and God-given gifts. Watch the Sunday bulletin or our events on the website for the dates of the next Welcome to Grace class and get signed up.
Why become a member?
A Biblical reason: Christ is committed to the church. Ephesians 5:25 states, “Christ loved the church, and gave His life for her.” Membership is an important step in demonstrating our commitment to Christ.
A cultural reason: We live in an age where very few want to be committed to anything -- a job, a marriage, or a family. This attitude has produced a generation of church shoppers. Membership swims against the current of America’s consumer mentality and sets us apart from that “cultural norm” allowing us to preserve our distinctive Christian beliefs and values.
A practical reason: Membership identifies our community and family. It defines who can be entrusted with positions of leadership within our church.
