Our Story

Founded in January of 1953 and held the first meetings at Third and Broadway in the MFA Conference Room. We moved to the Paris Road location which was one lot with one house soon afterward. We built the Paris Road auditorium in January 1954 and completed the Education building on Paris Road in September 1963.

We constructed a new building on 601 Blue Ridge in 2007 - first service on June 3, 2008. Grace has only had three lead pastors since 1954.
Pastor Mike Burt has been Lead Pastor since 1985. 

Grace Bible Church is a dedicated family of believers sharing a common faith and intentionally living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the World.  Beginning in 1953, Grace has a high view of God’s Word and a strong desire to be disciples and make disciples as Jesus commanded in the Great Commission. 

Grace intends to live generationally, making sure that this generation is equipped to serve those who need to hear the Gospel and grow in faith. Additionally, Grace intends to teach the next generation of leaders to serve the within the Church and their Community with hope and faith from God’s Word.  We will continue to seek out and train leaders for ministry, both for inside our Church family and for ministry anywhere in the World.
