What the Lord's Been Teaching Me - Psalms 25:4-7
"Teach me your ways, O LORD; make them known to me. Teach me to live according to your truth, for you are my God, who saves me. I always trust in you"
What is God teaching me? So often as Pastor I am praying and meditating on what I feel the Grace Family needs the most from God’s Word – prayers, family, faith, fears, losses, temptations and so many more Scriptural themes from the Bible – yet how often do you hear from my heart about what God is teaching me? You have heard me say often that - “the day I cease to be a student I am no longer qualified to be a teacher!” I am still and intend to always be a student of God’s Word seeking God’s will.
So, Sunday at our Summer Kick-off Picnic each of us as pastors will share a few minutes about what God is teaching us – I hope this will be encouraging – as Paul said: “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.” Philippians 3:12
“If I am to wholly follow the Lord Jesus Christ, I must forsake everything that is contrary to Him.” A.W. Tozer
