Looking forward!

Sunday will be a day of Celebration and reflection! David and I are planning a service that is focused on the Lord's Supper – Communion. The songs, the scriptures and the message will all highlight different aspects of our appreciation for the year of faith past and look forward to the faithfulness of God in the year to come. Sunday will be a time to worship and reflect and confess and anticipate the blessing of God! I am encouraging you to prepare for this service by spending some time in prayer and meditation about your walk and faith. I love the warning of John Wesley,

“But it is strange that it should be neglected by any that do fear God, and desire to save their souls; And yet nothing is more common. One reason why many neglect it is, they are so much afraid of "eating and drinking unworthily," that they never think how much greater the danger is when they do not eat or drink it at all.”
