Psalm 30 – An Invitation to Praise and Thanksgiving
“Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.” Psalm 30:4
As we enter the month of Thanksgiving, it is encouraging to see our church family taking time to reflect on the importance of gratitude. In November, we have a special program planned for this season. Each Sunday, one of our pastors will share a selected Thanksgiving Psalm, and I believe it will be a wonderful experience to hear what God has laid on their hearts.
I am honored to share Psalm 30 with you this Sunday. This Psalm teaches us to exalt and praise God, expressing our thankfulness for His deliverance, restoration, faithfulness, mercy, and love.
I invite you to join us on this journey of Thanksgiving!
“Gratitude for one mercy refreshes the memory as to thousands of others. One silver link in the chain draws up a long series of tender remembrances. Here is eternal work for us, for there can be no end to the showing forth of all his deeds of love.” Charles Spurgeon
Your prayers are greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing you there.
