Psalm 19

“Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” (Poem by Susan Warner – 1860)

In Psalm 8, David wrote: “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”

In full view of Creation David wondered why God even gave him a second thought. But God DID give David and all of us that second and eternal thought! God is clearly seen in Creation – Psalm 19:1-6 and heard in Revelation Psalm 19:7-14. We looked at Creation for the last 2 weeks and now this week the Revelation of God to man.

The Scriptures – our promise of life and hope of redemption – the sweetest words for man from God. This simplest message – "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so!” – is also the most profound in the world!

All Creation cries out that there really is a God and all the Bible cries out that this God really loves us! Sunday we will finish the three-week series on What is man? Don’t miss us online – See you Sunday!
