How is My Vineyard? - Mark 12:1-12

“A tenant farmer would ask the Owner – what part of today do you wish to use?”

Sunday is the Parable of the Vineyard and Wicked Tenants – Jesus again goes to a parable to teach a timeless truth. Using common examples and ordinary circumstances Jesus slips behind the defenses of the religious leaders and delivers a knockout blow! The story is engaging and convicting – the people got it – the disciples got it – the religious leaders got it. The real question for us is about our vineyard. God has placed us in a spot to grow and grow others – how are we doing? Do we offer back the responses and results to Heaven or do we make excuses trying to keep the credit to ourselves? This work is not ours – it is the LORDS! This Sunday I will ask us to listen to the parable – identify the cast – make the applications to our vineyard – Grace Bible in Columbia MO. I am in Africa now but Lord willing home with you on Sunday – Pastor Mike
