He Has Done All Things Well - Mark 7:24-37

Denis Garijo

"And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, 'He has done all things well ...” Mark 7:37a

In Mark 7:24-37, we find two very different stories. One is about a desperate mother, a Syrophoenician woman, pleading for her demon-possessed daughter. The other is about a man who couldn’t hear or speak, brought to Jesus by those who loved him. Two different people. Two different problems. And Jesus responds to each in a different way.

These encounters may not play out the way we expect. But the result in both cases is the same: healing, restoration, freedom—and the people respond with amazement, declaring, “He has done all things well.”

That simple sentence is more than a compliment; it’s a declaration of truth and trust. It reminds us that even when God’s ways seem delayed, silent, or different from what we were hoping for, He is still at work. And in the end, we’ll be able to say the same thing: He has done all things well.

My prayer is that this Sunday’s message will encourage your heart to trust Him, not just when the answer is clear, but especially when it’s not. Because whether the answer is “yes,” “no,” or “wait,” we can rest in this truth: “He has done all things well.”

“We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.” C.S. Lewis

Your prayers are greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing you there.
