I hope you can make every effort to share with Grace this Sunday! Paul challenges the church to the simplicity and clarity of the true Gospel. Not just the 'nuts and bolts' of the Romans Road, but the Gospel in everyone's life – pouring out our “soul” to others. We will begin with Trust of the Gospel as Paul addresses our motives then the Truth of the Gospel comparing our methods. Finally we will wrap up with the Tenderness of the Gospel as we see how this ministry is supposed to work. If you are looking for action points and life lessons in discipleship and ministry – this is your week! D.L. Moody refers to this passage as a warning to “Unmercenary Motives” - that would have been a great title, but he already used it – so Sunday I will bring Paul's demand for Trust, Truth and Tenderness in the Gospel.
