Time Is Up! - Revelation 22

You have reached your destination.

In our modern times the use of a map is long forgotten skill – now we ask our smart phone or even our car navigator for our route to our objective.  Then after several repeated instructions we finally hear – ‘you have reached your destination’.  That is the message Sunday – we began last April and now in the last weekend of October ‘we have reached our destination!’  This final chapter of Revelation is filled with lots of important stuff – things to come – things to do and not do!  We will hear of the Warnings of the Lamb and Wishes of the Apostle.  What a great way to end our months long walk through the corridors of times to come.

Sunday I will also share a few of my ‘best of’ quotes from all our Revelation weeks together.  I have enjoyed so very much taking you with me on this journey and I pray that we have gained some measure of the two things I began with as goals for our series – humility and hope.  God offers both and no book I know gives so much opportunity to acquire some of each.  Humility on how little we know and then how much we must trust the word and work of God.  But also woven in nearly every chapter is the ceaseless invitation to ‘come’ as we will hear again even this last week at the very doorstep of our destination.  Please join us for this celebration ending of God’s Revelation of Jesus Christ.
