An even dozen

Sometimes the best thing to do (the only thing) is wait – especially if we are not sure of God’s design as in George Macdonald’s quote! We can trust the hand of God because we know the heart of God – He loves us! The Apostles were devastated by the death of Jesus and astonished by His resurrection - the followers were uncertain what was next. The only thing they could do was gather and console each other as they waited for what was next. There were a couple things to deal with like grappling with the betrayal of Judas and his replacement. Others just needed the fellowship and prayers during their grieving. Sunday I will take us through some tough subjects like patience and trust during the worst of times – dealing with suicide – ‘baptism for the dead’ and generational thinking. Lots to do this week – don’t miss it! See you Sunday,
