Starting September 2020

    Brenda Davis - In-person (Thursdays at 9:30am)

Starting Thursday, September 8th. The Thursday morning women's Bible study group will be continuing its study of the book of Exodus, chapters 19-40. We are using Jen Wilkin's podcast and workbook series on Exodus. We are in the middle of this study but anyone is welcome to join in. Workbooks are $10.

    From Jen's website:

"Exodus is the 2nd book in the Bible, written by Moses sometime between 1450-1410 b.c. to the 2nd generation of Israel. It is a historical narrative that points us to the major theme of redemption. In 10 sessions we will see how God is faithful to fulfill His covenant promises and redeem His people. It is a smaller story that points us to the greater story of the entire bible: the redemption of mankind in the person and work of Jesus Christ."

Dawn Heston - Online (Tuesdays at 6pm)

Starting Tuesday, September 15th. The armor of God by Pricilla Shirer. More than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

  • Camping with Jesus – The Wilderness Tabernacle

Pastor Mike - In-person and Online (Wednesdays at 6pm)

Starting Wednesday, September 16th. Maybe that is a vague title but it is the word used in John 1:14 about Jesus.  “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt (tabernacled or camped) among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14.

The study of the Old Testament Tabernacle is a shadowing of Jesus to come!

So many lessons in the form and function and details of the Tabernacle. We will cover each as best we can in 8 weeks. We will look at the Courtyard, the Gate, the Veil, the furniture and the garments of the Priest on the Day of Atonement.

We will have handouts, Pastor Mike's scale model of the Tabernacle and a take home pamphlet you will use for years.

  • book of john - men's bible study

    Pastor Andy - In-person (Wednesdays at 6pm)

Starting Wednesday, September 16th. Men of all ages – especially if you are feeling disconnected or isolated. We will read and discuss the book of John in three chapter chunks with the goal of experiencing “life in Jesus’ name.”

John 20: 30,31 - Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Angie Poock - Online (Thursdays at 7pm)

Starting Thursday, September 17th. Just as God sheltered Noah in the ark, Moses in the desert, & Paul in prison, He will surely shelter us in these uncertain times. David Jeremiah's new book, Shelter in God reminds us of Bible characters who grew to know God more deeply during & after storms, and how we can, too.

Angie Poock invites ladies to Thursday night fellowship of Bible study, discussion, and prayer. We'll meet on Zoom at 7pm using the author's video messages. Books are optional, but available. Let's learn together how we may know our Savior as Lord and treasure.

"You have been a refuge to the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm, and a shade from the heat." Isaiah 25:4.
